Rental Prices Dropping in Croatian Capital

Rental prices for apartments in Croatia’s capital Zagreb are continuing to fall, according to statistics from real estate portal Crozilla.com.

The average monthly rental in August for an apartment in the capital of between 20 and 40 square meters, is 289 euros, which is 5.5 per cent less than in the same month last year. For apartments between 60 and 80 square meters, the going rate has fallen 3.7 per cent from August 2011, whilst apartments ranging from 40 to 60 square meters, there was a 1 per cent drop from last year.

Apartments in Novi Zagreb continue to be the cheapest to rent, whilst apartments in the heart of the city centre fetched the higest going rates.
