Record Turnout as Severina Opens SeptemberFest in Croatia

Croatia’s version of Germany’s famous beer festival Oktoberfest opened in the capital Zagreb on Friday night. Arguably the regions most famous pop star Severina kicked off the 6th SeptemberFest (RujanFest) in front of a record 45,000 fans. SeptemberFest will be held for the next week in Zagreb, with 10 different concert stages, 100 performers, a theme park and over 85 different beers on offer. Entry to the festival is free up until 19:00, and just 20 kuna (2.50 euros) after. For more information and festival programme visit the festival’s official website here.
