Record Tumbles: Zagreb Never Warmer

ZagrebCroatia’s ‘winter-less’ winter continues with unseasonably warm temperatures across the country this weekend, with even record-breaking temperatures in the capital Zagreb…

Weather portal Crometeo writes that on Zagreb Sunday it was the warmest 5th of January in the capital since records were kept. In Zagreb morning temperatures did not drop below 10.5 deegres and hit a high of 15 during the day. Zagreb’s morning temperatures were 11 degrees higher than the average for 5 January. This time last year Croatia was covered in snow, but the wait continues this year with no snow on the horizon either. The warm temperatures has also forced the cancellation for the first in history of the World Cup skiing event in Zagreb which was scheduled for this weekend.
