Promo film ‘Dubrovnik Riviera’ wins at 2019 New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards

10 April 2019 – Another award for the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board’s tourism promo video. 

‘Dubrovnik Riviera’ has won the Bronze World Medal at this year’s New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards honouring the world’s best TV & films. 

The award ceremony was held last night in Las Vegas and featured competition from over 50 countries.  

The 4.minute promotional film, which was produced by Balduči Film from Zagreb, directed by Herve Tirmarche and producer Spomenko Saraga, features authentic gastronomy, magical island beaches, natural beauty, food and wine, sport and recreation, entertainment, and cultural and historical heritage of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County all which are recognised by many tourists of all generations. 

The concept of the film was jointly created by Balduči Film and Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board. The Dubrovnik–Neretva County is the southernmost Croatian county, located in south Dalmatia. The county seat is Dubrovnik and other large towns are Korčula, Metković, Opuzen and Ploče. 

The film has won a number of awards since it was released in September 2018, including a silver award at the Golden City Gate awards at the 53rd ITB Berlin, and two awards at the World Tourism Film Festival in Japan.
