One of the most popular and long-lasting rock bands from Croatia – Prljavo kazalište – have begun their 40th-anniversary jubilee tour last night in Osijek.
The tour will see them play at venues in Australia, Canada, the United States and around Europe.
Last night the tour kicked off at a packed Gradski vrt in Osijek as the band played a number of their hits which have made them popular over the last four decades, including classics like Sve je lako kad si mlad, Lupi petama, Ruža Hrvatska (Mojoj majci), Heroj ulice, Marina, and Korak po korak.
The band is recording a new album which is expected to be finished in March, just after the band returns from their tour downunder to Australia this month.

“We are looking forward again to visiting Australia, we have been before and we know what to expect. We are in good form and we will have fun there,” the band said.
The jubilee tour culminates in Zagreb where it all started back in 1977 with a big performance on 31 May 2018.
