Popular ‘Little Picnic’ returning to Zagreb’s Upper Town

ZAGREB, 13 August 2019 – This year Little Picnic returns to Zagreb’s Upper Town during the second half of August. 

Besides the usual event on Thursdays, on Fridays you will be also able to enjoy on your blanket with a panoramic view of the city. If the hot Zagreb pavements are your destiny this August, press <pause> on the heat and hide away below Vranyczany’s Lea canopies on 22nd and 23rd of August and 29th and 30th of August. Here you will be able to partake in one of the most favoured summer events in Zagreb. 

Take a break from the city commotion in this true little picnic-oasis, enjoy home-made treats found on Little Market’s summer menu, the well known mobile market for locally grown, organic products. From Little Picnic’s menu do not miss: resting barefoot on the grass, candle-lit relaxed conversations and back-to-back stranger introductions. 

If you fancy an unusual romantic date, sharing a blanket and a bite with your dog, gathering your family and friends in the best ways possible or just having a glass of home-made wine solo, this community picnic will enthuse you.
