Popular American Metal Band Mastodon Confirm Zagreb Concert

Popular American heavy metal band Mastodon will be playing in Zagreb this summer.
The band, who formed in 2000 out of Atlanta, Georgia, and consist of bassist Troy Sanders, guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher, and drummer Brann Dailor, will be back for the first time in the Croatian capital after exactly 2 years.
Mastodon will play at Tvorinca Kulture on 16 June 2017 as part of their tour promoting their new album ‘Emperor Of Sand’ which is set to be released on 31 March 2017.
Mastodon have released six studio albums, as well as a number of other records since they formed, receiving a number of awards and nominations. The song “Colony of Birchmen” from the band’s 2006 third album, Blood Mountain, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2007.
They have had commercial success with a number of other songs, including ‘Curl of the Burl’ and ‘High Road’ which was their third Grammy-nominated song.
Tickets for the gig go on sale on 7 March 2017 with the earlybird price of 130 kuna. On 9 March 2017 tickets will rise to 150 kuna and finally 180 kuna on the day of the concert.
