Poljud sells out in 24 hours for Croatia v Hungary EURO 2020 qualifier

SPLIT, 25 September 2019 – Poljud Stadium has sold out for Croatia’s EURO 2020 qualifier against Hungary next month in just over 24 hours. 

There are no more tickets in sale for the match after more than 30,000 tickets were released to the public on Tuesday, the Croatian Football Federation confirmed on Wednesday. 

On Wednesday morning just 3,977 tickets were available and they were quickly snapped up. 

Croatia returns to Poljud Stadium for the first time in over four years after the last match against Italy on 12 June 2015 in a EURO 2016 qualifier. The match was played behind closed doors after a swastika pattern was visible on the pitch against Norway in a qualifier at the stadium in March of that year.

Ivan Rakitic and Mateo Kovacic return for the clash which will be played on 10 October (20:45).
