PM Off To Vatican To Meet Pope

Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic will meet with Pope Benedict XVI when he pays an official visit to the Vatican on Monday.

Milanovic, together with Croatia’s Minister of Religious Affairs Orsat Miljenic, will take part in a round table discussion on the 20 years of diplomatic ties between Croatia and the Holy See with Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State and Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church.

The Croatian delegation will also be involved in talks surrounding Croatia ‘s admission into the European Union next year.
