Placebo Announce Zagreb Gig on World Tour

Popular English alternative rock band Placebo will play a gig in the Croatian capital Zagreb on their world tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album…

Placebo, who formed in London in 1994, will play their only concert in the region on their world tour in Zagreb at the Dražen Petrović Concert hall on 10 November 2016.

The Place for Us to Dream tour is to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary since the release of their self-titled debut album which was released on 17 June 1996 and peaked at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart at the height of the Britpop era. The album spawned several successful singles, most popular being “Nancy Boy”.

Placebo have released seven studio albums, all of which have reached the top 20 in the United Kingdom, and have sold around 11 million records worldwide. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on 16 March with regular sales starting on 18 March on Eventim’s website.
