VUKOVAR, 16 June 2019 – The 3rd Vukovart – Street Art festival, which took place in the eastern Croatian city of Vukovar has ended. 

Vukovart – art harbour is a concept that promotes Vukovar as a place that accepts all artists and creators of new values. The whole idea started in 2016 when Filip Mrvelj (the only Croatian 3D Street Artist) painted a bridge over small river Vuka in Vukovar. 

“With this concept we change the visual identity of Vukovar, but also with we create a tourist attraction for all visitors who come to see the Open Gallery,” organisers said.

This year’s festival motto was “Give me 5”, with five new murals done by some of the world’s top street artists: WD (Wild Drawing) – Indonesia, Mehsos – Belgium, Thiago Mazza – Brazil & assistant David Arranhado – Portugal, Lonac – Croatia and Zabou – France.
