Current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miočić has landed in the Croatian capital Zagreb on Wednesday.

Miočić, who flew in to Zagreb from London, was greeted by TV reporters and a handful of fans at the airport.

Miočić will spend time in Zagreb and meet fans on his brief stay. He will train with Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipović on Thursday.

The hard-hitting American-Croatian, whose mother hails from Karlovac and father from the Zadar region, said recently that he wanted to visit to show his wife where his ‘genes’ were from.

Miočić has visited and trained in Croatia on a few occasions with his idol ‘Cro Cop’ and does not hide his love for Croatia.
