[PHOTOS] The Bench that will Represent Croatia in ‘Benches for Europe’ Contest

Mia Bogovac, Matea Bronić, Maša Milovac and Kristina Volf from the company Manufakturist have had their bench selected to represent Croatia in the ‘Benches for Europe’ project which will have its official opening on 28 May. The Croatian designed bench will take its place, along with benches from 28 EU member states, on a path which starts from the European Council building, past the Zaepfel bridge, to the European Parliament building in Strasbourg.

‘Benches in Europe’ is an initiative from the city of Strasbourg, and its aim is to create a synergy effect between the 28 members of the European Union, promote young European artistic designers, enhance the city’s beauty, attract new visitors to Strasbourg, and change the view on the city for those who already know it.
