“SUP is really great for recreation, both for beginners and for those more experienced – adapting to a wide range of users, and just learning and mastering the technique is not too demanding. With a couple of initial falls and rising from the sea until the possibility of standing or balancing on the board is strengthened, since the basis of this activity is balance – said one of the organisers and SUP trainers Kristina Alaburić.

Kristina emphasised that in addition to classic recreation, training, sightseeing, and even fishing, yoga can also be practiced on a stand up paddleboard.

“Something for everyone or maybe SUP for everyone,” adds Alaburić.

Every year, more and more people in the world want to learn to stand up paddleboard and explore the coast from the sea whilst doing some recreation.

Alaburić says there’s no reason why one should not start ‘SUP-ing’ this summer.

“It is very quick and easy to learn, it is great for all ages, it is useful for physical and mental health, and it is fun for the whole family. It is top training in nature and meditation in motion. The island of Pag is SUPer!.”
