LIKA, 9 September 2019 – The 2nd edition of the Croatian Walking Festival has taken place over the weekend in Lika with 1,107 participants from seven countries exceeding organisers expectations.

In the host towns of Gospić and Otočac, more than twice as many people as least year walked the Tesla and Gacka routes, discovering the natural and cultural beauties of Lika.

Not even the bad weather forecast would deter the festival participants who arrived from all over the world and were of all ages. The oldest participant this year was over 70 years of age, whilst the youngest was pushed through the routes in a pram.

Organisers have already begun preparations for the festival in 2020 when even more international ands local participants are expected.
