The first international beach polo tournament in Croatia has started in Rovinj on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula on Friday…

The 4-team international event, which ends on Sunday, features players from all over the world, as well as 50 Argentine horses. Traditionally the sport of polo is played on grass, but an adopted format has seen sand replace the grass for the tournament.
