Matias Knežević (20), Kristijan Gorupić (21) and Niko Jeleč (21) from Pitaya Solutions have placed their first Smart Shower LOOPS in their native city of Osijek yesterday.

The shower is located at the playgrounds of a secondary school in Osijek. The team expect the showers to be located on beaches along the coast next summer.

“Our showers collect solar energy during the day, and after sunset automatically activate lighting. The showers also have advertising panels and provide flat 4G Internet (0-24 hours) for a large number of users,” the trio say describing their Smart Shower LOOPS invention.

The Wi-Fi capabilities of shower can reach up to 500 metres, with around 50 people able to connect at the same time onto the network.

The trio, after searching the internet, believe that their showers are the first of their kind in the world.
