PHOTOS: Fine stvari opens in Zagreb

Fine stvari, a place with the best whiskeys, rums, gins and other selected drinks from the world’s most famous brands, has opened in Zagreb.

Zagreb has thus gained a place to buy premium drinks, socialise and for all connoisseurs of the world of distillate to exchange knowledge, as well as those who are just discovering it.

At Fine stvari, you can find carefully selected products from distilleries with a long tradition, young ones that have already found their places on the rankings of the best, world-famous labels, but also those that you may never have heard of but should. What they all have in common is the top quality of ingredients and production methods.

Along with the finest drinks, Fine stvari have also included interesting educational contents in their offer. This autumn, they are starting with monthly workshops that are designed as informal get-togethers with conversations about the exciting history of certain drinks, such as rum, gin and mezcal, their typologies and production methods.

The first in the series is a gin workshop that Filip Presečki from Luftbremzer Distillery will lead, scheduled for October 20. It will be followed by Scottish whisky stories… led by Tomislav Ruszkowski on November 3 and Highland Park — Scotland’s northernmost distillery led by Dario Grabarić on November 17.

The Old Pilot’s distillery workshop with lecturer Filip Pleteš is scheduled for December 1, while December 15 is reserved for the whiskey workshop of Dominik Bečvardi’s Tri Distillery. Tickets for the workshops are available on the Fine stvari webshop.

In addition, the first public presentation of the new Jack Daniels label in Croatia — Jack Daniels 1938 Bonded, a drink that until now has only had the opportunity to be tasted by professionals, will be held in Fine stvari on November 12.
