Dubrovnik is making a bold statement in the heart of New York with marketing campaign on Times Square’s iconic digital billboards.
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board has launched an exclusive marketing campaign in New York. As part of its strategic promotional activities in international markets,
Dubrovnik is being showcased from 3rd to 16th February 2025 on a digital billboard in Times Square.
Displayed on an imposing screen towering nearly 30 metres high at the northern entrance to Times Square, a captivating 15-second video with the message “Alluring Dubrovnik, Croatia” will capture the attention of passers-by.
The unique shape and prominent position of this screen draw the eyes of millions, including Broadway theatre-goers, tourists, shoppers, and business professionals working in the heart of New York.
It is estimated that the video will reach more than 13.7 million people over the course of the campaign.

“Dubrovnik’s presence in Times Square is a great honour and a strategically important step in strengthening the city’s recognition in the American market. This campaign not only enhances Dubrovnik’s image as a prestigious global destination but also further positions our city in the minds of potential travellers from the US,” said Miro Drašković, Director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
American tourists ranked second in the number of visits to Dubrovnik in 2024, with 186,869 arrivals and 513,234 overnight stays—an 11% increase in arrivals and a 10% rise in overnight stays compared to the previous year.

The US remains one of Dubrovnik’s key markets, and the Tourist Board continues to invest in its promotion through digital campaigns, media partnerships, and participation in leading tourism fairs and business workshops.
The Times Square campaign marks yet another milestone in strengthening Dubrovnik’s global recognition and inspiring travellers for the 2025 season, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board concluded.
