After a two-week delay, Designer Outlet Croatia, the largest outlet in the country, finally opened on Thursday.

A red-carpet event was held with as the cutting of the ribbon took place yesterday afternoon at Designer Outlet Croatia, which is located next to IKEA in Rugvica, Zagreb.

A number of brands are available at shops at the complex which spreads over 15,000 m2 and is designed into different Croatian regions, including stone-built stores in line with traditional Dalmatian architecture.

Adidas, Asics, Converse, Champion, Nike, New Balance, Reebok Under Armour, Fred Perry, Speedo, Umbro, Joop!, Armani, Hugo Boss, Antony Morato, Leggiero, Guess, United Colours of Benetton, Tod’s, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Ugg, Tosca Blu, Dsquared, Good Bags, Ipanema, Karl Lagerfeld, Levis, Croata, Ellesse, Gant, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, Ralph Lauren are just some of the brands available.

Visitors can also find a replica of Dubrovnik’s city tower, experience walking through Dalmatian streets or the atmosphere of the old town of Zagreb.

On opening day today more than 100 fashion, shoes and sports brands will be offering discounted items from 30 – 70% off retail prices. A concert from singer Severina was held at the outlet last night to celebrate the opening.
