Croatia’s biggest beer festival has opened with the bang over the weekend in the city of Karlovac.

Over 120,000 are again expected to visit the 31st ‘Dani Piva’ (Days of Beer), Croatia’s version of Oktoberfest.

Over 40 different beers from a variety of breweries, food, entertainment for the kids, and a host of concerts every night by the country’s most popular musicians will be on offer at this year’s edition held at the Korana Sports Centre in Karlovac which ends on 3 September 2017.

Karlovac’s ‘Dani Piva’, which is the biggest beer festival in the country and voted in 2013 among the best in Europe, is free to enter every day.
