For the third time, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Krakow organized the Croatian Picnic in Krakow on May 27 in the Little Croatia Park.

Croatian and Polish institutions related to Croatia took part in it. These companies presented their products and services at the stands. Sailing competitions were held, balloons in Croatian and Polish colors were released, and the inhabitants of Krakow and guests planted lavender.

There was also a show of Dalmatians and Croatian Shepherds. Many competitions and many other attractions were organized for children.

Performances of Polish and Croatian artists took place on the stage. The picnic, as in previous years, was attended by many residents of Krakow and the surrounding area.

At noon, an exceptionally ceremonial unveiling of the new 8 Croatian stars took place, with flights of military planes over the park, which we write about here.

At the end of the Croatian Picnic, a competition was held for a holiday advertising slogan inviting to Croatia and a slogan promoting Hotel Miran d.d. in Pirovac. The winning slogans rhyming perfectly in Polish: “You won’t find a better holiday than staying in Croatia” and “Hotel Miran in Pirovac? – turn on the navigation and drive!”

The winner turned out to be one of the participants of the Croatian Picnic, who as a reward will go for a free week with an accompanying person to the 4* Hotel Miran.
