[PHOTOS] Croatia Holds First Training Session Since World Cup

Croatia has held its first training session since bowing out at the hands of Mexico at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil…

Niko Kovač’s side has gathered in Zagreb ahead of an international friendly with Cyprus in Pula (4 September) and a EURO 2016 qualifier against Malta in Zagreb on 9 September. All of the squad was at Kovač’s disposal in Zagreb, except the injured Anas Sharbini.

“In these two matches we want to continue on the path we started and throw in some extra elements. It is time for these young guys to show what they know and put pressure on those who have been around longer. That way everyones performance will be better,” said Kovač.
