BUENOS AIRES, 7 November 2019 – A lot of Croatian communities around the world keep the culture and connections alive by broadcasting Croatia-dedicated radio programmes.
The radio programmes are a great way to keep the local Croatian community informed of events, news and happenings both in the homeland and in their adopted home country.
One of those radio programmes, Bar Croata in Argentina, has just celebrated fourteen years of continuous broadcasting. They celebrated the occasion by hosting a party in San Telmo, Buenos Aires.
Just like every year, several awards were presented on the night to prominent figures of the Croatian community in Argentina.
Those who received Distinctions Croatian Identity 2019 awards included Mirko Hasenay, Oscar Čučković, Zvonko Jelovina, Jorge Dragičević, Pedro Šarić, Mauricio Mold Slanac, Alejandra Mikas, Xiomara Čagalj, Ana Maria Kovačić, Alejandro Trgo, and Sergio Fogliato Soldić.
