After visiting the towns of Karlovac and Split, the massive 31 x 13 metre Croatian supporters’ flag has arrived in the capital Zagreb before its departure to France for Euro 2016 on Saturday…
The Karlovačko supporters’ flag was recently unveiled for the first time by workers at the brewery where Karlovačko beer is brewed.
“During the month of May a total of 400 red and white pieces of cloth made their way around bars and restaurant in Croatia. The pieces of cloth were signed by over 4,000 fans, included some famous names,” the brewery said.
Flag in Split
All the pieces of cloth with the supporters’ messages on them were then sewn together to make the massive 31 x 13 metre flag, which will arrive in Paris on Saturday ahead of Croatia’s first Euro 2016 match against Turkey on Sunday.
