Paul Green Shoes Opens Manufacturing Plant In Croatia – 500 Jobs To Follow

One of Austria’s largest women’s fashion footwear manufacturer, Paul Green, will look to employ 500 workers in Croatia after opening a 6,800 square metre manufacturing plant in the northern Croatian town of Prelog.

The first 50 workers were employed on 1 July, the day Croatia entered the European Union, with another 150 jobs going by the end of this year. In two years Paul Green will employ around 500 people in the small Medjumurje town. “In this building, which is the most modern in the region, we have invested 4.5 million euros, and another 4.5 milllion euros on equipment, the total investment will be around 10 million euros,” said director of manufacturing in Croatia Bojan Rezonja.
