The Croatian passport has been ranked 19th in the world out of 199 passports in terms of its power travelling around the world…

Passport Index, which is an interactive tool, which collects, displays and ranks the passports of the world, have released their latest rankings with the UK and U.S passports considered the world’s most powerful.

The ranking index scored 193 UN member country passports and 6 territories, with points accumulated passports for each visa free country that their holders can visit without a visa, or they can obtain a visa on arrival.

The German passport was ranked in equal second place with the French and South Korean, whilst the Italian was in third spot with the Swedish passport.

Croatia’s passport scored 124 points, to put it one point ahead of the San Marino passport.

1. UK / U.S – 144 – 147 points
2. Germany / South Korea / France – 145
3. Italy / Sweden – 144
4. Singapore / Japan / Denmark / Finland / Netherlands / Luxembourg – 143
5. Switzerland / Canada – 142
