The Tourist Board of the City of Zadar has recognised the importance of the Dalmatian dog, a unique symbol of Dalmatia, and has sought to support and highlight their significance.
This Advent season, Pago the Dalmatian has brightened up the city of Zadar, bringing smiles, festive cheer, and irresistible energy.
A particular highlight in recent days has been a video of Pago the Dalmatian strolling through Zadar’s Advent celebrations, which has become a viral sensation on social media.
The video has garnered over 50 million views, with the impressive footage and photographs captured by Matija Lipar.
His work perfectly conveys the magical and festive atmosphere of Zadar, where pets have rightfully earned a place in the hearts of both residents and visitors.
“As many spots as there are, there’s just as much love,” is the message that shines through in this video.
Each spot symbolises joy, love, and the heart that Dalmatian dogs carry within them – much like Dalmatia itself. A Dalmatian is not just a dog; it is a symbol of home, friendship, and festive warmth.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported this story with their effort, heart, and talent. Together, we have shown that the Dalmatian dog is not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside – just the way we love and remember them,” emphasised his owner, Kristina Alaburić.
Pago the Dalmatian has become a true source of inspiration for dance performances, souvenirs, and other creative projects and collaborations.
