Opatija Riviera’s First Hostel to Open

CroatiaThe first hostel on Opatija’s riviera is set to open its doors next month when Hotel Link opens in the town of Lovran…

Milenij Hotels have spent more than 5 million euros renovating what was once hotel Meridional, and have turned the former hotel into a 111 room hostel. Each room will have its own bathroom and its design and range of services put it at the higher end of the hostel scale. The hostel is located just a stone’s throw away from Lovran beach and a few minutes walk from the old town.

“The interior and exterior planning will be done in collaboration with Italian designers, and each floor will have its own story and characteristic colour, and special lighting. Particular attention will be paid to the arrangement of the external surfaces and horticulture. It is in a central location with various urban festivals, workshops, screenings and other events that will bring together young adults from all over Europe, and a far,” said Hostel Link to Poslovni dnevnik, adding that the hostel will be affordable as they hope to attract youth all year round.
