One of Croatia’s Biggest Companies Opens New Energy Bar Factory in Nova Gradiška

Atlantic Grupa, who are one of the largest regional food industries with well-known brands such as Argeta and Cedevita, opened a new 100 million HRK factory for the production of energy bars, from the sports and functional food line today. A total of 160 jobs are expected to be created with the opening of the factory, which was attended by Croatia’s Prime Minister Zoran Milanović on Monday.

“We are extremely proud of the fact that the factory was built in just ten months, for which we extend our gratitude to our employees and partners for their hard work. This project is an example of efficient investment in Croatia, where we had great support from both the local community and government institutions, as well as financial partners, first and foremost from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,” said Atlantic Grupa CEO Emil Tedeschi.

2afc87af0702c73853a0ac2fa5b97424Through their brand Multipower, Atlantic Grupa are one of Europe’s leading sports nutrition producers, This investment will help consolidate their production capacity. 99% of the sports bars produced in the factory will be exported to Western European markets.
