On Trial Former Croatian PM to go on Talk Show

Former Prime Minister of Croatia and President of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) political party Ivo Sanader, who is current on trial for corruption, is to appear on a Sunday afternoon talk show, reports website Tportal.

Sanader will be a guest on “Nedjeljom u 2” and will give his first interview since he fled Croatia before being arrested in Austria in December 2010.

Sanader, together with former members of HDZ, is currently on trial in Zagreb for siphoning off close to 10 million euros from state institutions and companies.
