Norway Most Prosperous Country in the World – Croatia 50th

CroatiaCroatia has been ranked the 50th most prosperous country in the world in Legatum Institute’s 2014 Prosperity Index

Norway took out the number one spot on the index which measures eight categories and reveals how a country performs economically, and in key areas such as education, health, personal freedom, safety and security and entrepreneurship.

Croatia was ranked 50th out of 142 nations ranked, up three places from the 2013 index. Croatia performed best in the health ranking (36th), whilst its lowest rank is in the Social Capital sub-index, where it ranks 119th in 2014. The least prosperous countries are predominantly found in sub-Saharan Africa, with the Central African Republic bottom of the rankings, followed by Chad and Congo (DR).
