No.1 Marina in Croatia Named

Croatia

D-Marin Dalmacija, located in Bibinje and Sukošan on the Dalmatian coast, have been presented with the award for the Best Marina in Croatia for 2015 at the 17th Biograd Boat Show, the largest boat show in the region which is currently being held in Biograd na Moru…

“It is a pleasure that experts have recognised the large investment made by D-Marin Group in Croatia. That large investment has taken us to the top in Croatia for marina quality in both infrastructure and in the services we offer to boaters,” said D-Marin’s Regional Director Božidar Duka.

D-Marin Marina Dalmacija with its 1,200 berths is the largest Croatian marina.

Second place in the awards went to ACI marina Dubrovnik, whilst Olive Island marina took third place.

“Nautical tourism has this year proved to be one of the most competitive Croatian tourism products. Croatia competes equally with European and international nautical destinations. Being the world’s best, and to keep up with much better known destinations is extremely difficult, that is why we must continue to improve business conditions in the nautical sector”, said Josip Zaher from the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
