Rijeka sign talented Australian-Croatian (Twitter/Louise Taffa)
Croatian club NK Rijeka has signed teenage talent Mark Moric from Australia.
Moric (18), who has Croatian ancestry and is the son of former footballer Ante Moric, has signed NK Rijeka, Taffa media reports.
Moric from Sydney came through the FFA Centre of Excellence and is a former Australian Under-17 international. He joined Newcastle Jets on a 2-year scholarship last year.
“To sign for one of Croatia’s biggest clubs is a dream come true for me, I’m looking forward to working hard and achieving my goals in Europe,” Moric said.
