Niko Kovač Names Croatia Squad for World Cup Play-Off

CroatiaNiko Kovač has named his first squad in charge of the Croatian national team on Thursday afternoon. Kovač named a 23-man squad which will take on Iceland in a World Cup qualifying play-off match over two legs on 15 and 19 November.

The full squad is:

Keepers: Stipe Pletikosa, Danijel Subašić, Lovre Kalinić
Defenders: Darijo Srna, Domagoj Vida, Vedran Ćorluka, Dejan Lovren, Ivan Strinić, Gordon Schildenfeld, Šime Vrsaljko
Midfielders: Ivan Rakitić, Luka Modrić, Ivan Perišić, Mateo Kovačić, Niko Kranjčar, Ivo Iličević, Mate Maleš
Strikers: Mario Mandžukić, Ivica Olić, Eduardo Alves Da Silva, Nikica Jelavić, Leon Benko, Ante Rebić
