New Year’s Eve: Croatian bands, food & more in Zagreb’s Strossmayer Square

Fuliranje

ZAGREB, 28 December 2019 – Fuliranje (Fooling Around) Gourmingle in Strossmayer Square, which is the most popular event at Advent in Zagreb, is preparing a big New Year’s Eve bash with entertainment kicking off at noon and ending in the early hours of first day of the new decade.

More than 100 local and international specialties await as well as good vibes for people ready to say goodbye to 2019 and warmly welcome in 2020.

“Fuliranje will end on 1 January, so if you are in Zagreb come and catch some memories at one of numerous photo points, enjoy a great selection of local and international dishes, try original booze and dance, dance, dance,” organisers said.

On Saturday, December 28th, young Croatian jazz singer Dora Trogrlić will entertain the crowd, and from 4 pm, Nick Colgan & Pepi Jogarde from Adriatic Coasting will take over the mix counter.

On Tuesday, the last day of Fuliranje Gourmingle, the warm-up starts at noon with great Croatian producer Ilija Rudman and his selection of music from the 70s and 80s, accompanied by Pepi Jogarde.

Dino Dvornik Tribute Band

At around 11 pm, the popular Croatian tribute band to Dino Dvornik will reveal their great playlist. Dino Dvornik was the widely loved Croatian King of Funk, so the New Year will be seen in with some crazy and funky beats. Around 1 am, Fuliranje will host the young Croatian band ‘Svemirko’ and their popular disco-pop sounds until the early hours.
