New Dražen Petrović film arrives on Netflix

The biopic Dražen, which tells the intimate story of legendary Croatian basketball player Dražen Petrović, is now available on Netflix.
Dražen, which captivated audiences in Croatia, attracted more than 50,000 viewers in its first two weeks in cinemas back in October arrived on Netflix on Wednesday.

The film follows Petrović’s life, from his childhood in Šibenik to his tragic death in Germany in 1993. Shot on authentic locations such as Šibenik, Zagreb, New Jersey, and New York, Dražen offers a deeply personal perspective on the basketball icon’s journey.

Producers Ivor Šiber and Ljubo Zdjelarević expressed their hopes that the film would introduce Petrović’s legacy to international audiences, particularly younger generations, allowing them to experience his energy and inspiration.
The film features Domagoj Nižić as Dražen Petrović, Tonko Stošić as young Dražen, Romina Tonković as Renata, Pavle Matuško as Aleksandar Petrović, and Zrinka Cvitešić as Biserka Petrović.
