MTV Summerblast Coming to Croatia in August

World famous music television station MTV, which changed the music industry, will this summer open a new chapter on the Croatian festival scene…

Club MTV Europe will present MTV Summerblast this summer in the beautiful city of Poreč from August 19-20. According to organisers, there will be ‘a banging lineup with top artists’ at the first edition. The first acts will be revealed on May 5 2016.

Around 20,000 festival goers are expected to turn up in Poreč for the festival. MTV Summerblast will be part of Poreč Open Air, which will see over 100 different events bring the town to life for 3 months from 9 June to 10 September.

MTV Summerblast has the backing of the Croatian Tourist Board.

“I am extremely happy that the Croatian tourist offering is richer with another quality event, and with this festival we cement our position further on the world festival tourism map which today represents one of the key tourism products. Croatia is a young and interesting country that offers an exceptional variety of lifestyles, a great number of festivals, including now Club MTV Europe Summerblast, which proves that,” said Croatian Tourist Board Director Ratomir Ivičić.
