The frontman for The Smiths will now play at Zagreb’s Velesajam on 12 December, and not on the 11th. Morrissey is keen to spend a bit more time in the Croatian capital and relax from the concert he has on the 10th of December in Belgrade.
Morrissey, who has been branded as ‘one of the most influential artists ever”, enjoyed an illustrious solo career after the Smiths broke up. He had a 10 UK Top 10 Singles, whilst his first solo album, 1988’s Viva Hate, entered the UK albums chart at number one. It might be one of the last chance fans have to see him in action after he announced that his ‘retirement’ from the stage was not too far away.
