British Airline company Monarch Airlines will fly 200 kids from the English city of Birmingham to Dubrovnik on Croatia’s Adriatic coast as part of a promotional campaign organised in conjunction with the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
The Birmingham school kids, who will be accompanied by their teachers on the free trip, will travel to Dubrovnik as Monarch Airlines looks to strengthen its position in the Croatian market. Monarch is currently in the top 3 airlines for traffic into Dubrovnik Airport.
From 2012 they have been operating services direct from Manchester, Birmingham and London into Dubrovnik. Last year there were 93,041 British tourists in Dubrovnik, up 39% from the previous year.
