Modric Rates Boban As Best Ever

Real Madrid star Luka Modric has said that former Croatia captain and AC Milan legend Zvonimir Boban was his idol and one of the greatest players of all time.

“Without a doubt, Zvonimir Boban,” said Modric when asked who his idol was, before continuing. “He is one of the best Croatian footballers of all time and was my idol since I started playing football.”

Modric made the comments during an interview on Real Madrid sponsors Bwin’s website. He also spoke about his first few months at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“Playing for Real Madrid is a huge thing. Its one of the best, if not the best club in the world. It’s an amazing feeling being here, I am enjoying every moment. I enjoy playing for Real,” said Modric.
