Million Kuna Toilet in Dubrovnik

There are no signs of belt-tightening in the Dalmatian City of Dubrovnik during the economic crisis. The City Council is to spend one million kuna (134,000 euros) on reconstructing a public toilet in the City.

The million kuna toilet will feature plenty of stainless steel, will be equipped with sensors for controlled water consumption and paper and hand driers, and will be built in a way that makes it protected from vandals, writes newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija.

The new toilet will be in working order in approximately two months, and there are plans for the other public toilets in town to get the same make-over.
