Matesa Elected Croatian Olympic Committee President For 4th Time

Zlatko Matesa has for the fourth time in a row been elected as President of the Croatian Olympic Committee after a unanimous vote at the Committee’s General Meeting yesterday.

Matesa (63) was the only candidate for the position and will celebrate 10 years in the job after first being elected in 2002. Matesa, whose latest mandate runs through to the end of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, is HOO’s third President after Antun Vrdoljak and Zdravko Hebel.
