Marin Cilic Forfeits 2nd Round Match At Wimbledon

Croatia’s number one tennis player and Wimbledon 10th seed Marin Cilic is out of Wimbledon. The tall Croat was due on court this afternoon to play his 2nd round match against Frenchmen Kenny De Schepper but news just in London is that Cilic has forfeited the match due to injury.

Although no official release about his injury has been announced, it is suspected that Cilic has a knee injury. Croatia’s hopes now at Wimbledon rest on Ivan Dodig and Petra Martic after Mirjana Lucic was beating this morning in her 2nd round match.
