Manu Chao Coming to Dalmatia for the First Time

Manu Chao, whose real name is José-Manuel Thomas Arthur Chao, will play at Jazine Open Air festival on 17 July in Zadar. It will be Manu Chao’s first concert on the Dalmatian coast after previously performing memorable concerts in Zagreb and Pula.

Chao, who began his career as a busker in Paris and sings in a range of different languages including French, Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese, has had considerable success, particularly in Europe, firstly with his band Mano Negra and then as a solo artist. His set-list in Zadar will feature tunes such as “Bongo Bong”, “Clandestino”, “Me Gustas Tu”, “Rainin’ In Paradize”, “Mi Vida”, and “Politik Kills”.
