Australian rock outfit Major Minor have released their latest single, a rock reimagining of the popular Croatian song Dao Bih Sto Amerika, originally performed by the late Jasmin Stavros.
The track was officially released today across major digital streaming platforms.
Known for transforming nostalgic Croatian classics into modern, hard-hitting rock anthems, Major Minor delivers their most energetic work yet.
This brand-new version pays dynamic tribute to the legendary, late Jasmin Stavros while introducing the timeless track to a new generation of rock fans globally. Dao Bih Sto Amerika was inspired by Stavros’ time spent living in the United States before he returned to Croatia shortly before the country gained independence.
Major Minor have been a fixture of the Croatian-Australian music scene for more than four decades. Founded in Melbourne in 1983, the band has performed thousands of shows, entertaining generations of Croatians across Australia.
