Mad Rush Forces IKEA to Extend Deadline for Zagreb Jobs

IKEAIKEA have announced that they have extended the deadline for applications for jobs at their Zagreb store…

The Swedish furniture giants are currently building their first store in Croatia and will open in the spring of 2014. Last Friday they advertised 29 jobs, and an unprecedented rush saw their website crash within hours of the jobs being posted on their website. IKEA say that more than 900 people have so far applied for the 29 vacancies, and the mad rush means that they have had to extend the deadline for another day. Applications now close on 2 December at midnight with those interested able to apply here.
