Luxembourg Becomes Latest Nation To Restrict Croatian Workers

Luxembourg have become the latest nation to impose labour restrictions on Croatian workers. Luxembourg’s confirmation that it will deny open access to its labour market to Croatian citizens for at least 2 years,  brings the total to 8 nations now who have imposed work restrictions on Croatian citizens from 1 July when Croatia officially joins the EU.

Luxembourg joins Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and the United Kingdom as nations to impose restrictions on Croatian job seekers.

10 nations have announced that they will not impose any restrictions on Croatian job seekers, those nations are Sweden, Romania, Hungary, Ireland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania. No decision from Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Poland or Portugal has been announced as yet.
