For the second year in a row Luka Modrić has won the ‘Football Oscar’ for the best Croatian footballer…
The ‘Football Oscars’ were held last night at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb, with Modrić picking up the main award of the nght. The best player in the Croatian league went to Rijeka’s striker Andrej Kramarić, whilst the best young player in Croatia was won by Chelsea’s new signing Mario Pašalić, who played for Hajduk Split this season. Goalkeeper of the year went to Rijeka’s Ivan Vargić, whilst his coach Matjaž Kek won coach of the year. (pic: HNS)
