Luka Modrić Nominated for Spain’s La Liga Midfielder of the Year Award

Modrić is one of three contenders for the best Spanish La Liga midfielder for last season, with Atlético de Madrid’s Gabi, and Sergio Busquets from Barcelona the other two in contention. Luka was a key figure in Real Madrid’s midfield last season, playing 34 games during the La Liga campaign. The LFP ceremony will be held on 27 October.
